WHO WE ARE

The restaurant

The restaurant has an à la carte menu which is regularly updated. In our atmospheric restaurant you can continue to enjoy the most diverse Italian dishes. We also open our cozy outdoor terrace during the warm days where you can enjoy the Giethoorn hospitality, sipping your drink.
We take you on a culinary journey through Italy, in which Sicilian cuisine is central. With great care, we select only the best fresh ingredients, for which the Italian kitchen is known. Sicily is known as a producer of the best olives and grapes, but especially lemons. With these lemons, owner and chef Salvatore makes delicious Limoncello, according to a secret family recipe. This delicious drink should of course not be missed after an Italian dinner. In addition to our fixed menu, we prepare changing dishes every season, inspired by the best that Sicily has to offer.

The family

The brothers were born and raised in Sicily. They come from a family of 7 children from the beautiful but also infamous island of Sicily. Salvatore, Davide and his brothers come from an enterprising family of 7 children, their father had a construction company and mother had a bread bakery. From an early age they have learned to work hard and that the family is of great importance. With this life lesson, Salvatore and Davide came to the Netherlands to work hard for the family. For the brothers, family means everything, family is fun and family means good food together. Food is central to the Italian family and Ristorante Fratelli is therefore a real family restaurant, where you can enjoy an evening.
